Briallen Clarke -SPA

Briallen grew up in Perth Western Australia. Briallen was heavily involved in the performing arts from a very young age, performing lead roles in musicals such as Guys and Dolls, The Pyjama Game and Oliver. Upon leaving school Briallen commenced a Bachelor of Education at the University of Western Australia, studying to become a drama teacher and specialist. After a successful audition for the Acting course at NIDA, Briallen moved to Sydney to commence study of her Bachelor of Dramatic Art (Acting). Briallen’s theatre credits include: Dreamsong (Melbourne Arts Centre); The Lunch Hour (Siren Theatre Co/Darlinghurst Theatre Company); Pork Stiletto (Old Fitzroy Theatre); Hollywood Ending and A Strategic Plan (Griffin Theatre Company);  All My Sons and The Young Tycoons (Darlinghurst Theatre Company); The Plant and Clybourne Park (Ensemble Theatre), Hay Fever (Sydney Theatre Company) and The Block Universe (or so it goes) (The Old 505 Theatre), A Strategic Plan (Griffin Theatre Company). Briallen also co-produced the highly acclaimed production of Stop Kiss (ATYP/Unlikely Productions). Briallen has featured in numerous television commercials, appeared in Baz Luurman’s Great Gatsby and recently appeared on Channel 9’s Doctor Doctor. Briallen has continued to study throughout her professional career and brings skills picked up from her combined training of NIDA, The Atlantic Acting School (New York) and The Groundlings School (Los Angeles) to her students at SPA.
