JESSICA PATERSON

Jessica graduated from WAAPA in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Acting. In March 2017 she appeared as Ruth in the sold out season of The Laden Table for kxt/bAKEHOUSE, and in 2016 as Katie in Loaded (Girl Shut Your Mouth) for the Black Swan State Theatre Company of WA and as Grace Styles in Season 4 of A Place to Call Home for Foxtel. Whilst at WAAPA Jessica performed lead roles as Elizabeth Bennet in Pride & Prejudice, Lilly Cahill in Punk Rock and Malcolm in Macbeth. Jessica also holds a Bachelor of Music (Music Education) with Honours from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. She has taught classroom Music and Drama in high schools and primary schools throughout Sydney, has taught privately as a lower brass specialist, has conducted choral and instrumental ensembles and directed, assistant directed and musically directed a number of productions throughout her time as a teacher. She is also a member of the education committee for WITS (Women in Theatre and Screen). Jessica is thrilled to be combining her skills as a teacher, musician and actor for the Sydney Performance Academy.
